The Elite 9 Hockey League is Proud to Announce the Springfield Rifles as the Newest Member of the E9!

The Springfield Rifles have emerged as one of the top youth and midget hockey programs in New England over the last decade.  The Rifles are a Tier I powerhouse program and perennial contenders each season at the Tier I State and National Level.   Program director, Brian Foley, is proud to boast that the Rifles’ program has developed 70+ current NCAA Players including 20 NCAA D1 commits and 4 NHL Draft picks over the last 5 years.  The Rifles have been a top contender in the Elite 9 and Boston Hockey League over the past 10 years and should once again contend for several league Championships during the 2019-20 season. 

The 2020-21 season will mark the first year that the Rifles’ Elite teams will receive automatic bids to compete in the Elite 9 & the E9 Prep Division at all age levels Mites to Midgets, while the program’s select teams will compete in the Boston Hockey League.  The Springfield Rifles are one of the fastest growing and largest youth hockey organizations in New England with their National Bound Teams (U14, U15, U16, U18) perennially ranked among the top 10 teams in the country.   The Springfield Rifles program currently consists of 20 boys teams as well as recently acquired Western Mass Blizzard Girls program, which will field girls teams under the Rifles banner at the U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19 levels and compete in the Elite 9 Girls Hockey League for the 2020-21 season.
