6 Boston Advantage Girls Players Selected for USA Development Camps

6 Boston Advantage Girls have been selected to National & Regional Development Camps this summer to begin the process towards attaining a roster spot on the US Under-18 National Team.

  • 2002 Katherine “Katie” Pyne selected as 1 of 3 Massachusetts Forwards and 1 of 40 US Forwards to attend the 2019 Girls Under-18 National Festival held in Lake Placid, N.Y. August 5th-11th.
  • 2003 Kate Ham selected as 1 of 8 Massachusetts Forwards and 1 of 80 US Forwards to attend the Girls 16/17 National Festival held in St Cloud State University Herb Brooks Hockey Center.  Kate will be looking to secure one of the remaining 12 Forward roster spots and join Katie Pyne at the Under-18 National Festival in Lake Placid, NY in August.
  • 2004 Grace Fiorella selected as 1 of 8 Massachusetts Defense and 1 of 72 US Defense selected to attend the Girls 16/17 National Festival held in St Cloud State University Herb Brooks Hockey Center.
  • 2004’s Kate Flynn, Meghan Gambino, and Brooke Manning are part of a group of 20 Massachusetts Forwards and 120 US Forwards selected to attend the Girls 16/17 National Festival held in St Cloud State University Herb Brooks Hockey Center.

The work is just beginning for these girls.  Mass. Hockey is investing in the preparation of these 6 Boston Advantage players by hosting them at the 2019 Massachusetts Hockey Select Camp at Boston University June 7th – 9th.  This camp is by invitation only and is for players who were selected to USA Hockey’s National Camps.  Wish them luck when you see them participating in Lovell Walk-on-Skills and Summer Development Camps.
