WALTHAM, Mass. (January 7, 2026) — The Elite 9 Hockey League is proud to welcome the Jr. Falcons Hockey Club as its newest member beginning with the 2026–27 season, marking an exciting new chapter for elite youth hockey in New England. 

The Jr. Falcons will be based out of Bentley Arena in Waltham, Massachusetts—widely regarded as one of the premier college hockey facilities in the country—and will become the first Elite program in the region to not only wear a Division I college team’s color but also practice and play all home games on the same ice.  

While some youth programs may be affiliated with college brands, the Jr. Falcons will offer a truly unique experience by operating entirely out of a premier collegiate facility and providing players the opportunity to train and compete in a professional-level environment from day one.

The Jr. Falcons will field Elite-only teams at the following levels: 

With only one team per age level, roster spots will be extremely limited and increasingly difficult to earn in future seasons. Families interested in the Jr. Falcons are encouraged to complete the Prospective Player Form now to receive priority consideration as the inaugural rosters are built. 

A Major Expansion for Elite 9 in Massachusetts 

The addition of the Jr. Falcons strengthens the Elite 9’s presence in Massachusetts, expanding into one of the nation’s most hockey-rich regions previously unrepresented in the league. 

The Elite 9 Boys League is among the top youth leagues in the country, and the Elite 9 Girls League, entering its 7th season, has emerged as New England’s dominant league—recently earning 4 of the 7 Massachusetts bids to the USA Hockey Tier I & Tier II National Championships this season, the most of any league in the Northeast.
