New England Standouts Lovell, Wooton, and Manchuso Announce College Commitments

Three of New England’s top hockey prospects—Annabelle Lovell, Declan Wooton, and Will Manchuso—have recently made major announcements about their futures in the sport.

Annabelle Lovell, a standout forward from Hingham, Mass., and longtime Boston Advantage player, has committed to the University of Minnesota. Known for her elite play at Lovell Academy this past season, Lovell racked up an astounding 57 goals and 101 assists for 158 points across 83 games. One of the top 2009-born players in the region, she was also named to the USA U18 National Team. Lovell is set to join the Golden Gophers for the 2027–28 season.

Declan Wooton, a key contributor for Seahawks HC and currently playing at SPA, has announced his commitment to Cornell University. Wooton posted 46 goals and 41 assists for 86 points in 55 games this past season. He will head to Ithaca to join the Big Red for the 2028–29 campaign.

Will Manchuso, a Concord, Mass., native and Patriots alumni, has committed to Dartmouth College. Last season, he recorded 12 goals and 21 assists and made a strong impression at the USA Hockey Select 17 Camp, finishing tied for fourth in total points. Manchuso, also an Elite 9 alumni, brings high-end vision and creativity to the ice.
