NUMEROUS ALUMNI SELECTED IN USHL DRAFT

Congratulations to our Elite 9 Alumni on their recent selection in the USHL Draft. 

CJ Watroba from the Springfield Jr. Thunderbirds was selected by Muskegon Lumberjacks. Watroba being selected into the USHL is no suprise as he has made an impact even at the national level. At USA Boys 16 Player Development Camp he was one of the top point producers at the camp which had over 150 skaters participating. In his sophmore season, Watroba was also a top-10 finalist for the Massachusetts Mr. Hockey award from MassNZ.  

The 2006 from the Seacoast Spartans and then with Seacoast Performance Acadmey, Kole Hyles was selected by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Hyles was a long-time player for Seacoast playing 156 games and recording 126 points. Hyles was also named to the 23-24 NHL Central Scouting - Preliminary Players To Watch List! Hyles is committed to UNH for the 2026-27 season. Kole has been selected to numerous USA Hockey Player Development camps.  

Hugo Daniel, a Casco Bay alumni was selected by the Omaha Lancers. Hugo has posted 44 total points in his 34 games played this season. Daniel’s stellar season led to a USHS-Prep (New England) All-Conference Team selection and a spot on a NAHL roster with the Maine Nordiques. 

What is the USHL? 

The USHL is a Premier United States hockey league a Tier I top junior hockey league consisting of the player between the age of 16-21. Often, the league is a step towards DI colleges and professional careers.
