E9 teams bring home gold in MLK tourney's

The Elite 9 and Boston Hockey League would like to congratulate the 2010 Boston Americans, 2011 Boston Jr. Bruins, 2015 Rail Dawgs (Jr. Railers), and the 2013 New Hampshire Avalanche on winning their respective tournaments this past weekend.

The 2011 Elite Boston Jr. Bruins enjoyed a 6-0 undefeated weekend at the CCM MLK Invite. The 2011's defeated the Providence Hockey Club, NH Avalanche, and CT Elite Hockey Academy in round-robin play. The Jr. Bruins then beat Lovell Winter Club in the quarter-finals and the East Coast Militia in the semi-finals. The Jr. Bruins capped off their weekend with a 3-1 win over the Dallas Penguins.

The NH Avalanche 2013 Elite Team had an impressive team weekend at the MLK Midwinter Meltdown, winning the U-10 Black Division Championship. The team went 4-1-1, defeating the Jr. Flyers, Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and Utica Jr. Comets in the round-robin round. They went on to win in the semifinals 7-1 against the Lehigh Phantoms and in 4-0 in the championship against the North Jersey Avalanche

The 2010 Elite Boston Americans also earned an undefeated weekend going a perfect 6-0. Their 2010 division included 10 teams like the Boston Jr. Eagles, and the South Shore Kings. The 10's Americans picked up wins in Round Robin against the Tri-Valley Bulls, Flyers Elite, Red Bank Generals, and New Jersey TitansThey would face the South Shore Kings in the finals. The dominant weekend was capped off with a 6-1 win against the Kings and the championship! 

The 2015 Elite Rail Dawgs had a strong tournament at Waterville Valley with a 5-0 record. They were able to beat East Coast Wizards, Team Vermont, Mass Bay Chiefs, and Assabet.
